"Living in Victory," Chapter 25

Chapter 25 – Present day
“Thanks for that report,” the TV news anchor said when the field reporter had completed her news story. “And, we have more tragedy to report. According to information just received, the site of that live report was Madison Street in Victory, Indiana. On that particular corner sat the Victory Christian Church and we are told services were just dismissing when the twin tornadoes hit. Apparently, there were no survivors.
“Strangely, the minister, we are told, lost his own parents to similar twin tornados that struck Elkhart County in northern Indiana back in the 1960s.
He paused to let the import of his words sink in.
“We will continue to follow this story. Stay tuned.”
