What th- ? Drew Carey new host of 'The Price Is Right'

According to CBS.com, Drew Carey is announcing he has come to an agreement with the producers of "The Price Is Right" to be the new host when the show's 36th season begins this fall.
Carey will replace Bob Barker, who retired after 50 years on TV.
You know, Carey is a great choice! He has a great sense of humor, he is from the Midwest and there is probably nothing offensive about him.
We won't even discuss rumors Rosie O'Donnell was Barker's first choice.
Congratulations, Drew! Best wishes!!
I couldn't think of a better choice, though he certainly wasn't an obvious choice.

Rosie on "The Price Is Right"?

Rosie O'Donnell as Bob Barker's replacement on "The Price Is Right"? Are you nuts?
I cannot believe the reports that Bob Barker, listed as Executive Producer of "The Price Is Right" is supporting Rosie to be his replacement.
I guess it is time for Bob to retire!
This isn't about gay bashing. It's about a loud mouth woman who insists on stirring up controversy everywhere she goes. Hello -- who hasn't seen the clips from "The View"?
Bob Barker made it for so many years becase he is likeable and easy going.
Know who would be the best new host for "The Price Is Right"? Howie Mandell! The host of "Deal Or No Deal" is a joy to watch as he interacts with the contestants and the audience. Howie -- he's the person to replace Bob Barker, not Rosie O'Donnell or the other people who have been mentioned in the media.
