County joins region in hopes of getting portion of $500 million investment

On Monday night the Clay County, Indiana, Council voted 7-0 to join the Wabash River Regional Development Authority region.
Gov. Eric Hlcomb has announced $500 million has been committed by the state for developing communities in up to 10 regions.
